Bessie Faye Hensley, 88, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 7, 2025. She was born in Surgoinsville, TN to the late Isaac and Sallie Hensley. She worked for Rental Uniform for over 40 years before her retirement. Bessie was saved at an early age at Pink Hill Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin infant sisters; sisters, Trulie Bostic Hensley, Lillie Fansler, Rosie Walters; brothers, Tom and Dave Hensley.
Survivors include her sister, Janie Hensley; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Thacker Family Cemetery with Pastor Larry Tolley officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50pm.
