Howard Glen Hudson
May 13th, 1936 - November 9th, 2025
Howard Glen Hudson, 89, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Kingsport to the late John and Ercel Hudson. Howard served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for Kingsport Power for 36 years as an engineering supervisor before his retirement in 1996. Howard enjoyed model trains and his Corvair. He was a loving husband, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Hudson; sisters, Evelyn Johnson and Erma Hudson; brother, James Hudson.
Survivors include his loving wife, Carol Hudson; sisters, Eva Seckler and Mary Jane and husband Noah; devoted friends Donnie and Delores Frazier; stepdaughter, Chasiti Knight; nephew, Johnny and wife Nadine Ely; along with a host of friends and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Mike Stout officiating.
A military graveside service will follow at East lawn Memorial Park with the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265 conducting the honors.
