Louise Vallard

Louise Tucker Vallard passed away on November 7,2025 at her home, in Mountain Home, Idaho. She was 97 years old. She was born Blanche Louise Tucker, to Louis and Blanche Tucker, on April 26,1928 in Nampa, Idaho. She grew up in the Nampa-Melba area. On October 6, 1945, she married Walter C. Vallard. They were married for 61 years and had six children. She lived in Mountain Home, Idaho, for many years.
Louise had many interests and talents. She loved to crochet and delighted many friends and family members with gifts of beautiful handwork. She was a masterful cake decorator. Beautiful, delicious cakes were part of many celebrations for decades. She also found joy working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She was an active member of Our Lady of Good Council parish, in Mountain Home
Louise was survived by sons Carl and Paul (Kathy), daughters Caroline and Joan (Galen), daughter-in-law Marlena, 11 grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren, numerous great- great- grandchildren, her sister Linda, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Virgil and Gary, sisters Violet and Mary, husband Walter, son Tom, infant daughter Mary Patricia, grandsons Jim and Cory, granddaughter Cindy, and great- grandson Christopher.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday November 17, 2025, at Rost Funeral Home with interment to follow at the mountain view cemetery. All are invited to join the family for a luncheon at the American Legion Hall at 3:00 pm following services.
