Alice Ann Rainey
June 12th, 1939 - November 11th, 2025
Alice Ann Rainey was born on her grandfather’s farm in a small town, Friedens, Pennsylvania. She worked as a clerk at a loan company in Somerset, Pennsylvania. She moved to Florida and worked in the billing department at Florida Telephone Co, in Ocala, Florida.
She worked 30 years for The Marion Co. School system.15 years at Stanton-Weirsdale Elementary and 15 years at Shady Hill Elementary in Ocala.
She met her husband, David O. “Buckshot” Ranger Jr. and they married in 1960. They had 2 sons, David and Michael, 3 granddaughters, Rebecca, Dawn, and Allison.
After retirement she worked part-time at Learning Wheel Education Store with her good friends from Shady Hill Elementary.
Services will be held at Lone Oak Cemetery in Leesburg, FL.
