Talmadge E. Sasser, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, at the age of 93 in Warner Robins, Georgia. Born on September 11, 1932, in Douglas, Georgia, Coffee County, Talmadge lived a life devoted to family, faith, and service.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, John E. Sasser and Eula Mae Hand Sasser; mother of his children and former wife, Hazel Sasser;  his sons, George Sasser and Jeff Sasser; and his grandson, Gregory Allen Sasser. Talmadge is survived by his loving wife, Linda Faye Sasser, daughter Pam Busbee (Shane), 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, along with a host of extended friends and family who will cherish his memory.

 

Talmadge's career as a civil service electrical equipment repairer at Robins Air Force Base showcased his dedication and skill, contributing to the support of the armed forces and ensuring the reliable operation of essential equipment. Beyond his professional achievements, he was known for his kindness, embodying the spirit of Community as an active member of Beacon of Hope. Talmadge loved God deeply and found joy in sharing His word, becoming a source of inspiration to those around him.

 

A graveside service honoring Talmadge Sasser's life will take place at Magnolia Park Cemetery November 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Reverend James Chikas Sr. officiating.  In this time of mourning, may all who knew him find comfort in their shared memories and the legacy of love he leaves behind. Talmadge's gentle spirit and unwavering faith will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
