Donna D. Groover

Donna D. Groover, 83 years old, was born on Oct. 19, 1942, and passed away peacefully Oct 6, 2025. Preceded in death by her husband of 40 years James (Jim) R. Groover. Donna worked at Valley National Bank before retiring in 2004. Born in Providence Rhode Island Donna moved to California in 1965 where she later met Jim. They married in 1972 and moved to Tucson. Donna attended Cavalry Church and enjoyed luncheons with her women's group many of whom she worked with before retiring. She loved traveling, Symphonies and her daily walks. She was an avid walker and claimed she had walked the around the earth three times. Donna loved cats and was a loyal donator to Hermitage Cat Shelter. She is survived by her son Scott Holly, (Lanora), and Stepchildren Jamie, Morgan, David and Liz Groover along with seven grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be no services at Donna's request. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity in Donna's name.
