Jeanne Allen
June 16th, 1931 - November 12th, 2025
Jeanne J. Allen (nee Fayhee) June 16, 1931-November 12, 2025Jeanne J. Allen (nee Fayhee) passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at her home in Sedona, Arizona. She was 94 years old. Jeanne was born in East Orange, New Jersey to Joseph and Gladys Fayhee, on June 16, 1931.
Jeanne’s family moved to New York City, where she met the love of her life, Tom. They were married in June of 1952. During their 65 years together, they weathered life’s ups and downs, moved to Haverstraw in 1965 and then Stony Point in 1997 until Tom’s passing in 2017. They called Haverstraw their home for most of their life together, raising their two children, Bob and Stacy there and later welcoming their two grandsons, Sean and Danny. Surrounded by family and friends that became family, they had an amazing life. Jeanne worked for Bankers Trust and later CH. Martins. She was a member of the Haverstraw Elks, and both the Haverstraw and Stony Point Seniors. She loved spending time with her friends, and frequented many events and trips. She was an avid reader, loved to play cards and could be easily persuaded to hit the casino! In fact, she spent her last Monday in one! At the age of 87, she took a leap of faith, packed herself up and moved across the country to Sedona, Arizona to be closer to Bob and his beautiful wife, Lynne. Jeanne enjoyed 7 wonderful years with them, being treated like a queen by both Lynne and Bob.
Jeanne took immense pride in her family and loved them dearly. Her children were her greatest joy, until her grandsons came along, only to be outshined by her great-granddaughters, Chloe, Fiona, Kacey Jeanne, Alex. She was always in awe of how smart and beautiful they were.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, both of her brothers, Jack and Joe Fayhee, the love of her life Tom, her beautiful daughter, Stacy Coleman, loving son-in-law, Kevin Coleman and her beloved daughter-in-law or as she used to say, her other daughter, Lynne Allen and dear nephew Brian Allen.
Jeanne is survived by her son, Bob Allen of Arizona, grandsons, Sean (Tara)and Danny (Bliss) Coleman both of Colorado, great-granddaughters Chloe, Fiona, Kacey Jeanne Coleman, and Alex Coleman Nieces Diane Allen Madden, Lisa Allen Caldera, Mary Frost O’Neill and nephew Robert Allen and Goddaughter, Christine D’Eri Hirsch and many lifelong family and friends.
The family will receive friends and relative at TJ. McGowan And Sons funeral parlor, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 4 pm to 8 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 26 John St., Stony Point, NY on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 10:00 am.
