Susan Eckelberger-Branham, 75, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in the Palliative Hospice Care Unit.

 

Born in Batavia, NY, Susan lived in Ransomville, NY before moving to St. Petersburg in 1969. She graduated from Lewiston-Porter High School in Lewiston, NY.

 

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Branham; her parents, Harry and Mary (Gravanda) Eckelberger; and her brother, Peter Eckelberger.

 

Susan is survived by her son, Perry Lee Jordan III (Joann Heilman); her sisters, June Lane and Linda Quinn (Robert Bailey); her step-sons, Michael Branham (Laura) and Robert Branham (Julie); and her step-daughters, Melissa Rabon (Doug) and Janine Garrett. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

 

Susan retired from Raytheon after 27 years of dedicated service. She was a proud member of several organizations, including the Largo Moose Lodge #2205, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4250 in Pinellas Park, and American Legion Post 104 in Pinellas Park.

 

She had a lifelong love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and attended multiple events in Sturgis, SD, as well as numerous motorcycle gatherings throughout Florida. She also enjoyed country music, dancing, cats, and gardening.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association (Gulfcoast), St. Petersburg, FL, or Suncoast Hospice (Empath), 3050 1st Ave S., St. Petersburg, FL.
