Michael "Mike" Stadt passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025, after a short but courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. Mike lived life to the fullest, embracing his love for the outdoors. Whether tending to his yard, gathering around a bonfire, snowmobiling, boating, or tinkering in his garage - which he affectionately called "farting around" - Mike found joy in every moment.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Mike served his country with dedication before returning home to Minnesota and starting a family. His service shaped the strong, hardworking, and selfless man so many came to rely on.
As the family's trusted Mr. Fix-it, Mike was always ready to lend a hand with house projects, car troubles, or any other challenge that came his way. His kindness, generosity, and love for life touched the hearts of many.
Mike is survived by his children, Kayla and Aaron Stadt; his fiancée, Laurie Michaelson, and her children, Griffin and Garrett; his grandchild, Aniyah-Jo; his mother, Elaine Schroeder; his brothers, Ken, Dan, and Ryan Stadt; his dearest friends Ken and Bev Heutmaker; and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Stadt; his brother, Ronald Stadt; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
