Richard Tommy Ramsay, 81Richard “Rick” Tommy Ramsay, 81, of Aloha, Oregon, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, at his home.Born on April 13, 1944, in McAlester, Oklahoma, Richard was the son of the late Thomas Nathaniel Ramsay and Gladys Imogene Maddox.Richard grew up in McAlester, Oklahoma, and graduated from McAlester High School in 1962. He joined the United States Air Force after graduation and enlisted from 1962-1966. Rick married Carlyn in New Orleans in 1969 and started a family back in his home state of Oklahoma and returning to Louisiana before heading out to the Pacific Northwest in 1977. He pursued a career as a Computer Programmer at 1st Interstate Bank & Wells Fargo for many years before retiring in 2010 from PacifiCorp.A man who doted and loved on his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and had a love for western movies.Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Gladys; his wife, Carlyn; his brothers, Allen, Johnny, Carl, Kenneth and J.E.; his sisters, Joan and Irma. He is survived by his brother, Wayne; his daughter, Tina (Lance) Hobbs of Warrenton, Oregon and sons Richard Ramsay II of St. Helens, Oregon and Shane (Kyra) Ramsay of Aloha, Oregon; his cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several extended relatives.A private Celebration of Life will be held December 6th.
