Ronald William Chamberlain, born October 9, 1943, in Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully at home in Chico, California, on November 17, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Ronald lived a life defined by hard work, ingenuity, and a love for the land. Over the years, he wore many hats - almond farmer, cattle rancher, lumberjack, butcher, gardener, mechanic, welder, blacksmith, electrician and inventor. His ability to solve problems and create solutions was unmatched, and he took pride in every challenge he faced.

He is survived by his wife Donna Chamberlain, his children: Matt (Claudia) Chamberlain, Angie (Adam) Handy, Lauri (Marc) Vollmer and Debbie Hosino and as well as his grandchildren: David Vollmer, Jacob Vollmer, Anne Chamberlain, Connor Chamberlain and Renee Hosino, and his brother Doug Duensing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fern Duensing and Larry Chamberlain, his stepfather Eldon Duensing and his brother Jerry Chamberlain.

Ronald will be remembered for his strength, resourcefulness, quick wit and generosity with his time and knowledge - always ready to lend a hand or share what he knew. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the lessons he taught and the love he shared with his family.

A celebration of life is planned for Friday, January 23rd, 2026. More details will follow.
