We are sorry to announce the passing of Kristina Marie Klingele, who, after fighting a long-term illness, passed away November 19, 2025, in Olympia, WA.

Kristina was born November 17, 1959, to parents Richard and Netta Klingele in Prosser, WA where she grew up alongside her three brothers and two sisters. She graduated from Pasco High School in Pasco, WA in 1978. In adulthood, she would go on to work for the Washington State Patrol as a data entry clerk, running background checks for over 35 years before retiring in the Tumwater / Lacey area.

Outside of work, Kristina was very crafty in sewing, making cards and whipping up delicious food in the kitchen. Family and friends could usually count on a beautiful homemade gift for any occasion.

Kristina is proceeded in death by father Richard Klingele, mother Netta Klingele Ellsworth, brothers Arthur Klingele and Troy Klingele as well as many other family members and her beloved fur baby Gabbie.

Kristina leaves behind sisters Anna Moffatt of Burbank, WA and Doris Klingele of Tacoma, WA and brother Martin Klingele of Troy, ID. She also leaves behind sisters-in-law Darlynda Klingele of Mountlake Terrace, WA and Barb Klingele of Spokane, WA along with nieces and nephews, Richard Klingele, Alva Moffatt of Pasco, WA, and Heather Klingele Smith of Shoreline, WA. Jason Klingele of Spokane, Janie Dorsey of Burbank, WA and Andy Klingele of Spokane will also survive her.

There will be a celebration of life held for Kristina at a later date with more information to come in the following days.

Kristina was a loved and cherished part of her family and community and will be deeply missed.
