Elaine M. Klaenhammer (Pittelko)
Elaine Klaenhammer, age 83, of Stillwater, MN passed away peacefully, with her husband at her side, on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Born on April 26, 1942 in Cresco, Iowa, she grew up on a farm with her parents, two brothers, and sister. She met her husband, Kurt, while working at the University of Minnesota and they built a life together raising two daughters. She worked at Sears at Maplewood Mall for several decades and built many lasting friendships. Through the years she enjoyed traveling, spending time at the cabin and time with her granddogs. She always thought of others and gave many EK crafted gifts, such as ceramics or beadwork. Elaine was a cancer survivor and a strong woman who was the center of her family.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kurt; her daughters, Jill (Dan) Fischer, and Leigh Klaenhammer; sister, Jolene (Mick) Gamez; brothers, Jerry (Carolyn) Pittelko, and Al (Mary) Pittelko; many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and other family.
