Randall Collier, age 83 of Surgoinsville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Randall was born on November 13, 1942, in Surgoinsville, TN to Garnie and Edith Collier. On June 8, 1968, Randall married the love of his life, Mrs. Faye Collier, and after 55 years of a beautiful life together, she proceeded him in death in 2024.
Randall was a devout Christian and of the Baptist faith. He retired from Mead Paper Company. Randall was a lifelong farmer; he loved raising cattle and growing corn. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, soon to be great-grandfather, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Faye Collier; brother Earl Collier; special grandmother Lou Sivert; and special aunt Bertie Sivert.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons Chris (Nikki) Collier and Brad (Timberly) Collier; grandchildren Addie (Tyler) Rogers, Ava Collier, and Dalton Collier; brother David Collier; sister Joyce Harrell; brother-in-law Tommy Jones; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home – Church Hill. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Greg Fletcher and Johnny Carr officiating. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 11:00 at Surgoinsville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Perry Dykes, Tommy Jones, Avery Williams, David Wood, Curt Barton, and Chad Barton serving as pallbearers, and Loren Jones and Scott Rutledge serving as honorary pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the Cemetery by 10:50 am.
