Mr. William “Bill” Thomas Burnam, age 79, a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025, at home surrounded by family. Mr. Burnam was born September 13, 1946, in Hinton, West Virginia to Lonnie and Floral (Stegall) Burnam. He was a Polk County resident since the 1950’s, coming from West Virginia and graduated from Auburndale High School Class of 1964. Bill was the Owner/Operator/Master Plumber of Burnam Plumbing in Auburndale for over 60 years and also taught plumbing at Travis Vo Tech for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepson – Shane Williams and grandson – JJ. Bill is survived by his loving family, wife of 35 years – Mary Burnam; 2 sons – Ken (Patty) Burnam and Keith (Andrea) Burnam; daughter – Heather (Clint) Turnbull; 3 stepdaughters – Mecca Stewart, Kelly Sheppard and Andrea Batton; brother – David Burnam; 10 grandchildren – Rachel, Stevie, Skylar, Taylor, Conor, Erika, Marah, Brandy, Lindsay and Key; 8 great grandchildren – Athena, Lorenzo, D.J., Shane, Kristen, McKenna, Alanna and _____. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held 11 am Saturday, December 13th at Kersey Funeral Home, with a gathering beginning at 10.
