Mrs. Whitaker, 86, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025. She was the daughter of the late William Barton and Agnes Hall Barton of St. Matthews, SC.
Surviving are her children: Glenda M Whitaker, Jimmie E Whitaker (Christi) and Stacey Whitaker. Grandchildren: Brooke Shumpert (Brent), Michele Uselston and Reece Whitaker. Great Grandchildren: Oakley Shumpert and Ellison Shumpert. She was preceded by her husband, Jimmie E Whitaker.
She enjoyed spending her days fishing when she was able and would never turn down a fried fish! She cherished her children and family. Her grandchildren very special to her and she absolutely adored her great-grand girls. She was loved by all of them and will be missed.
