Lou Ellen Kearns passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, in Ione, CA, at the age of 70. She was born on December 8, 1954, in Oakland, CA, to Golden and Dovie (Caskey) Kearns.
Lou was the freest of spirits, loved and loved by all children. She was an artist and crafter, and she loved going to craft fairs with her sister. Live music and her family always brought about a smile. She was strong, funny, and always supportive of her loved ones. She was cherished and is already greatly missed. There was no one like her.
Lou is survived by her daughter, Angela Brennan of Grass Valley, CA; son, Robert Kenworthy of Oroville, CA; sister, Janet Helmig of Ione, CA; brothers, Micky Kearns and Ken Hall; and grandchildren, Beverly Brennan, Evie Brennan, and Gabby Coleman. And many nieces and nephews.
At the family's request, there are no services at this time.
