Esther was born July 6, 1923, in Onawa, Iowa. The daughter of Benjamin William Skidmore and Blanche Marie McKee Skidmore. She attended the Whiting Town Consolidated School, after graduation, she attended Wayne Sate Teachers College for two years and received her teaching certificate. 

On April 16, 1946 Esther was married to Vincent E Thielman and made their home in Wayne, NE. Esther taught third grade at Sergeant Bluff, Iowa for three years before the marriage.

Esther was a member of the Whiting Christian Church and the Loveland First Christian Church, always active in different activates of the church.

Vince and Esther always enjoyed having family dinner and have family from out of state come. They would love to read, do puzzles and walks early in the morning when Vince was alive.

She will be remembered as a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great gran.

Esther and Vince were married for 55 years before his passing in 2001.

Survivors include daughter Donna (Richard) Scohy, son Mark (Karen) Thielman, grandson Jason (Cara) Scohy, Brad (Rebecca) Thielman, Jeremy (Kacie) Thielman, greatgrandchildren Ashlynn and Conor Scohy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers.

Two baby boys, Donald Robert, 1953, and Thomas Edwards, 1954.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 10th at 11am at First Christian Church at 2000 N Lincoln Ave, Loveland, CO.
