It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Arnulfo Gomez Pasindo, lovingly known as Villo, Coach and Dad who departed this life on November 20, 2025.

Arnulfo was born in Zinapecuaro, Michoacan, MX on Jan. 11, 1961, and made Salinas his home, along with his wife Jorgina, for 48 years, built a loving and beautiful life filled with laughter, adventure, and compassion. He loved his family, friends, sports, food, and travel. He found peace in knowing his loved ones were happy, and joy in watching his Cruz Azul, Dodgers, and Raiders win. Among his greatest passions was his love of sports, from encouraging his kids from the sidelines to coaching community teams and helping grow soccer in the city of Salinas.

As a teen he was a dedicated player, and as a father he became the biggest supporter of his four children, and a coach to his two boys plus the dozens of teens and children that were a part of the multiple teams that he formed. Later in life, he became “Villo” his proudest title, as he became a grandfather of two beautiful girls. There was no doubt that being grandpa was his favorite and made him the happiest.

Arnulfo will be remembered for his compassionate heart, his loud voice, his strength, his sense of humor and zest for life. He brought joy to every room he entered and had the gift of making people feel seen, loved and valued. His laughter, warmth, and kindness will live on in everyone who knew him. As he always said, “sean felices que nada les cuesta.” He will be missed beyond words but his spirit and legacy will live on in every heart he touched. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 1-8pm at Healey Mortuary. Rosary will be held at 6pm. The Funeral Mass will be Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Iglesia Cristo Rey at 10am.
