Mrs. Jean Electa Cumbie, age 67, a resident of Auburndale, Florida, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Lakeland Regional Health. Mrs. Cumbie was December 2, 1957 in Boaz, Alabama to Raymond Gene and Mayra Electa (Watson) Stanfield. She was a Polk County resident for over 55 years coming from Alabama. Throughout her working years, Jean served many companies as a bookkeeper. When Jean wasn't working, you would find her boating with her favorite ship mate and husband, Charles. Another passion of Jean's was feeding the neighborhood squirrels on her front porch, some of which she hand raised. Jean was preceded in death by her parents. Jean is survived by her beloved husband – Charles Cumbie, of Auburndale, Florida; two sons, Christopher Holladay and Kenny Ray Holladay; two brothers, Robert (Sondi) Stanfield and John (Robin) Stanfield; and leaves behind to cherish her memory, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Jean is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews – Troy (Brandy) Walker, Brent Walker, Jacob (Ashley) Stricklin, Cole Stricklin, Kayla Stanfield, and Mackenzie Stanfield.  Funeral services for Jean Cumbie will be 11:00 am Monday, December 8, 2025, at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park in Auburndale, Florida.
