Marvel Harriman-McKeanJanuary 9, 1936 – November 25, 2025 Marvel Harriman-McKean, 89, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, at Golden Years Manor in Payette, Idaho, with her family by her side. Marvel was born on January 9, 1936, to Harvey and Cleo Johnson and was raised in Payette. She married Jerrold Harriman in 1952, and they shared 45 years of marriage before his passing in 1997. In 2000, she married Noel McKean, and they enjoyed 12 years together until his passing in 2012. Marvel lovingly supported both of her husbands—Jerry in his mechanic and welding shops and his love for fishing, and Noel throughout their retirement years, especially during their time gold mining and camping together. She was also known in the community for her work, having cooked at Horseshoe Bend School in the 1980s and later at Nichols Steakhouse in Fruitland in the 1990s. She took great pride in caring for her yard and flowers and always treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Payette, Idaho. Preceded in DeathMarvel was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Cleo Johnson; her sisters, Lavina Fehlman and Joyce Bounds; her daughter, Rose Gladson; and her husbands, Jerrold Harriman and Noel McKean.
