Brenda A. Birch, 74, of Rotterdam, NY passed away November 29, 2025 at her home. She was born July 6, 1951 in Burlington, Vermont and adopted by the late Charles and Mildred (Stevens) Covey.
Brenda loved growing up on Sacandaga Lake and made countless memories there with her family. She looked forward to summertime trips to Great Escape and stopping at the ice cream shop for snacks and desserts afterward, which became an annual family tradition. She also enjoyed attending the monster truck events at Lebanon Valley with her son Joe every year. Brenda loved her cats and nurtured them as members of the family. Brenda was a provider, always checking on members of the family and making sure they had everything they needed. She was everyone's rock, loved by all and will be deeply missed.
Brenda is survived by her only son, Joe, her granddaughter Aubrey, and her nieces and nephew Missy, Tammy, Paul and their spouses.
In addition to her adoptive parents, Brenda was predeceased by her brother, Ken.
The family has chosen to remember Brenda's life privately at this time, and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral
