Edith Marie Hoskins passed away on November 21, 2025, in Prunedale, CA. Edith was born in North Dakota on June 13, 1933, and moved to California and Montana. She attended school in Carmel Valley from 1st grade to 8th grade and graduated high school from Hot Springs High in Hot Springs, Montana.
Edith loved working in the yard, planting flowers in her little garden, riding horses, and doing some team roping with her husband, Leonard Hoskins, who she was married to for 44 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Prunedale, CA, enjoyed bible study, as well going to lunch with her friend group from church.
Edith is preceded in death by husband Leonard Hoskins; daughter Julie Ann Crawford; parents Walter and Anna Wolcott; brother Frank Wolcott; and sisters Florance Varity and Ruth.
She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Hoskins, of Prunedale; granddaughters Amber Williams and Elizabeth Williams of Salinas; niece Lori Hall and many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 12, 2025, from 1-5pm at Healey Mortuary with a Funeral Service at 4pm.
