On November 25, 2025, one of our family's brightest lights, Bryana Tillman, left this earthly plane, casting a shadow over our hearts. While the family is devastated by this loss, we find mild solace in the fact that she is no longer in pain, and we know she would not want us to wallow in dark days. Bryana was a lover of dolphins, sunshine, flowers, rainbows, family gatherings, being a big sister to her siblings, and two nieces and nephew, whom she called her babies. She loved the children in her life. Around her, it was always a positive vibe. Because of the light she equally bestowed upon us all, we will honor her by pulling ourselves from the darkness and celebrating her life every day. She is gone in body, but her spirit lives on in us all.

Born in Miami, Florida, on October 1st, 1990, and having spent her childhood in Florida, Texas, and Maryland, Bryana lived a fulfilling life and never squandered an opportunity to enjoy it to the max. Following her deep passion for caring for children and adults, she worked as a nurse, earning her ADN and BSN. This year, before her passing, she was working toward a Master's degree in nursing.

As the family trip's initiator and planner, she ensured we all made new memories wherever we went. More importantly, she made sure her entire family had an opportunity to participate. It did not matter the occasion. Whether it was a family kickback, which occurred almost weekly with Taco Tuesday, or a birthday celebration, game day (recreational or the Cowboys), she always made it a good time to be had. We will forever cherish these memories and can not wait to create more in her memory.

We will miss her daily mantras and mottos, like, "give without expectation"...."don't worry, the money will come back somehow"....."hey girl, hey!"....and our favorite...."Shot! Shot! Shot!". Many of us looked forward to her daily TikTok updates, where she either premiered new coffee cups with affirmations, tried new coffee ingredients, or offered meaningful advice on just living.

Bryana is survived by her mother, Nicole Carter; step-mother, Jennifer Carter; her grandmother, Cherry Tillman; her siblings, Aje Matthew, Zabhrya Tillman, Nayla Matthew, Isaiah Matthew, Jonathan Barber, Adonis Barber, and Countess Barber; Javel Ramasey, Jaden Ramasey; her nieces, Halo Alexander and Serenity Thomas; and her nephew, Heir "Bear Bear" Barber; her aunts, Denise Sarpong-Johnson, Michelle Carter, Rona Carter, and Stephanie Russell; her cousins, Yazmin Carter, Ayana Flewellen, and Aliyah "Lia Pia" Perry; and countless other cousins and close friends who loved her dearly. Please respect the family's privacy while we continue to cope with our grief.
