Marjorie Ann Shupe, 89, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2025, surrounded by the family who adored her.

Born in Beaver City, Nebraska, Marjorie built a life rooted in love, commitment, and steadfast devotion to those she held dear. A dedicated homemaker, she raised three beautiful children and poured her heart into creating a home where everyone felt welcomed, cherished, and safe. She was the best grandma—opening her door, her arms, and her heart to her four grandchildren who spent countless afternoons and weekends by her side. Her home was the center of family life, always filled with warmth, laughter, and the irresistible pull of her presence.

Marjorie was known for her stylish hair, her loving personality, and her ability to brighten every room she entered. She was our rock, our laughter, and our light. She taught us to love fiercely, to extend tenderness even in the hardest seasons, and to be forgiving when life asked more of us than we felt we had to give.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Harvey D. Shupe; her brother Walter “Butch” (Mimi) Durst; her children Sharon (Dale) Jenkins, Harvey (Patty) Shupe Jr. and Jerry (Lori) Shupe; her grandchildren Garrett (Christina) Shupe, Breanne (Dusty) Hoffschneider, Whitney (Jen) Shupe, Aaron (Paige) Shupe, Kara (Chat) Everhart, Nikki (Jeremy) Long and 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Eva Durst and her sister Margaret Nunn.

Marjorie’s legacy is one of unconditional love, resilience, and the quiet, steady strength that shaped generations. Her presence will be missed beyond measure, but her love will live on in all whose lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Pathways Hospice, in gratitude for their loving support, or to One Mission Society – Randy & Shelley Marshall (#801930), in honor of Marjorie’s lifelong faith and generosity.

Open house memorial will take place at Adamson Life Celebration Home on Friday December 12, 2025 from 1:00PM  to 3:00PM.
