Virginia Mae Jaramillo, was born and raised in the Northwest Valley of Albuquerque NM, passed away at the age of 74 on Thanksgiving morning, peacefully in her daughters Rio Rancho residence on November 27th, 2025.
Virginia is survived by her children: Jennifer Jaramillo (Joaness), Elizabeth Jaramillo (Dominic Sr.), Gilbert Jaramillo (Teresa). Her grandchildren, Azaliya, Aaron, Yahanna, Rayetta, Aspen, Chrystian, Dom Jr. and Gilbert Jr. She is also survived by her brother Lee Perea, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Virginia Jaramillo is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Tomasita Perea, her siblings Steve Perea, Patricia Cabrera, Nancy McGeagh, and Sammy Perea. Along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Virginia Jaramillo lived a life dedicated to her faith, finding strength in God daily. Virginia was known for her determination in life, generosity, deep love for animals, family, and all who knew her as a friend. Virginia Jaramillo dedicated many years volunteering with Animal Humane New Mexico. She adored her four dogs and brought them to the park daily, where she formed close friendships. She also enjoyed meeting new friends at the casino and the senior center where she loved to dance and socialize. She was a highly intuitive, empathetic, multi-talented, and a hardworking woman. Virginia could fix and build just about anything. She was deeply dedicated to her family and cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren.
Virginia Jaramillo’s service will be held December 16th, 2025 at 11:00am. Sagebrush NE Heights location 7500 Montgomery Blvd. NE Albuquerque, 87109, immediately followed by a burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd. NE 87102 at 12:30pm.
Flowers are to be sent to Sagebrush NE Heights location on the morning of services.
