The family of Wanda Havens is heartbroken to share that she passed away on November 30, 2025.
Wanda Jean Rice was born on June 3, 1935, in Wellington Colorado, to Ben and Mable Rice. The youngest of four children, she grew up in Wellington on the family farm and graduated from Wellington High School in 1953.
Wanda is survived by her sister, Eloise West of Galt, California; her daughter Debra (Bill) Bershinsky of Fort Collins, and her son David Pierson of Wellington. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kellin Bershinsky (Rachel Narcisco) of Broomfield, Jenifer Wilcher (Zach Mikash) Fort Collins, and Brooke Bershinsky (Emmanuel Gomez) also of Fort Collins, and her great-grandchildren Dessa, Lucy, Logan, Kataleya, Kaydence, Sylvia, Manuel, Ethan, and Maxwell. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, JD and Harold; Darrel Pierson, and her husband, Bob Havens.
Please join us to remember and celebrate Wanda’s life on December 20th at 1:00 PM at Mountain View Church, 2330 E Prospect Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524. Food and fellowship will follow.
