Charles W. Miller, 92, formerly of Deptford, NJ passed away peacefully at Woodbury Mews surrounded by loved ones on December 4, 2025.
Charlie was a beloved husband, brother, father, pop-pop, and uncle. He will be remembered for his easy-going personality, sense of humor and his undying love and loyalty for the Philadelphia Eagles.
He started working at a young age, he enlisted in the United States Navy at 19 and served our country during the Korean war. He was proud to be a military veteran. When his children were young, he dedicated countless hours as a youth football coach. Being a strong man of faith, Dad became a eucharistic minister and served the community in that capacity.
Charlie loved his family and cherished times spent together sharing meals, laughing and telling stories of days gone by.
Charlie is predeceased by his parents Charles and Dorothy (Wharton) Miller; his beloved first wife and childhood sweetheart, Eleanor L. Miller; his beloved second wife Maryann P. Miller; and his loving brother William Miller.
Charlie is survived by his three sons, Gregory Miller (Marsia), Charles D. Miller (dec. Linda), Douglas Miller (Donna) and his stepchildren, Madeline Mills (dec. Bruce), Robert Bauman (dec. Linda), Patricia Gaffney (Tom), Loretta Bennett (dec. Bill) and Louis Bauman (Kathy). He was a loving Pop-pop to twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Charlie is also survived by his brothers, James Miller (Cathy), Wayne Miller (Eileen) and sister in-law Kitty Miller. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, December 15, 2025, beginning at 9:30AM until 10:45AM at Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margarets Church, located at 3rd and Beech, Woodbury Heights, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, please honor our father's memory with an act of kindness.

He knew the importance of families having a trustworthy, local funeral home to help them memorialize their lost loved ones and navigate grief. Our beautiful funeral home in Woodbury was originally built in the late 1700s, and has since been rebuilt to honor its original charm and comfortable, warm feel. Once you walk through our doors, you become family....
