Celia Caroline Hay passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025. Celia was born March 14, 1936 to Cecil and Lenore Davis in Lima, Ohio.
She attended school and graduated from high school in Lima, Ohio. She met and married her beloved husband, Max D. Hay a few years after graduation. They began a lifetime of adventures together. They lived in Hawaii, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Florida, Texas, Germany and England. They settled permanently in Colorado in 1992.
Celia made life long friends wherever she went and kept in touch with most of them no matter where she lived.
Her adventures included hot air balloon rides, boating, bicycling and traveling into East Berlin, as well as being present when the Berlin Wall came down!
Celia is preceded in death by her husband Max D. Hay, parents Cecil and Lenore Davis, sister June Davis, brother Eugene Davis and her West Highland Terriers.Celia is survived by her son Dennis D. Hay, daughter-in-law Bernadette Hay and several beloved friends and neighbors.
\Celia will be laid to rest with her husband Max at Fort Logan National Cemetery Section 48, Row 0, Site 318.
