Gloria Marlene Cordova was born on August 12, 1956 and passed away on November 29, 2025 in Lakewood, Colorado. She was 69 years old.
Gloria was the cherished daughter of Victorio DeCordova (deceased) and Beverly DeCordova. She grew up in Denver, Colorado and remained in Colorado her entire life. She was the beloved mother of Denise Martinez of Thornton, Colorado and Dennis Martinez Jr. (deceased). She was mama to Denyse Shante Perez (Mark), of Lakewood, Colorado.
The love of Gloria’s life was her family. She took great pride in her grandchildren Nicole, Erica, Zachary, and Josie. She also adored her great grandchildren, Devin, Ava, Marlene, Anton and Ophelia.
Gloria also leaves behind two sisters, Linda and Lorraine, numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members and friends. Along with her father and son, she was also preceded in death by her sister Yolanda and brother Victor Jr.
Gloria will be eternally remembered for her sharp wit and humor. She kept her family laughing in even the hardest of times. She was known for her hard work ethic and her dedication to the patients she served in her work as a CNA. She had such a fondness for them and they were lucky to be in her care.
Gloria prayed the rosary religiously and cherished St. Jude a great deal. Her family is in great pain with her passing, but find comfort in knowing that she is now in God’s loving arms.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on December 29, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 at Romero’s 4750 Tejon St. Denver, CO. 80211.
