Connor Carroll Stevens Jr., 58, of Gate City went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

 

He was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Connor Carroll Stevens.

 

Survivors include his mother, Ellen Louise Stevens; sister, Wanda Rhoton; niece, Kellie Rhoton (David Stone); nephew, Cody Rhoton; great niece, Kaydence Stone; along with host of friends and extended family. 

 

A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Stevens Family Cemetery in Gate City, VA. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50pm. 

 

Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Stevens family.
