Jaycob Isaiah Pabalan “Yoda,” age 29, of Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, passed away on November 27, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Jaycob was a graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 2015. He worked as a Production Manager for Auto Film Solutions and also served as security for Dublin House Bar and Grill, where he was a valued and respected member of the ʻohana for over two and a half years.
Jaycob’s life was deeply rooted in love for his family, friends, and community. He found great joy playing with his niece, spending time with his dogs, and being surrounded by those he loved most. He cherished moments with his parents, siblings, aunties, uncles, cousins, and his best friends, Nick Robbins and Hunter Aderholt. Jaycob enjoyed sports, frisbee golf, and fishing—activities that brought him peace and connection to the outdoors. A devoted reader and passionate lover of history, Jaycob especially treasured sharing stories and knowledge with his mom and dad.
Jaycob was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carlito Pabalan; maternal grandparents Flaton Fontanilla and Encarnacion Fontanilla; maternal grandparents Irenio Vergara and Vicenta Vergara; and his first cousin, Jonathan Tanaid.
He is survived by his loving father, Carlton Pabalan; mother, Irene Pabalan; sister, Carene Pabalan; brother, Joey Pabalan; nephew, Kainoa Pabalan; niece, Nohealani Pabalan; grandmother, Sylvia Pabalan; and numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins who will continue to carry his memory forward with aloha.
Jaycob’s mana, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he now journeys beyond this world, his spirit walks beside us, carried by the winds, the ocean, and the everlasting bond of ʻohana. May he rest in peace and light, embraced by God’s love, until we meet again.
