It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Albers, age 75, who died peacefully at home on December 10, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most, following complications from her nearly five-year battle with cancer.

Her husband, Bill Albers, and her three daughters – Colleen Dulin, Stacy Foster, and Kelly Burton – were at her side when she passed.

Jacqueline lived in Amador County for nearly 50 years, a place she truly loved, especially the people who made it feel like home. She was an avid golfer and a proud supporter of the Sacramento Kings, San Francisco Giants, and San Francisco 49ers, loyalties she followed with enthusiasm and pride.

Above all else, Jacqueline cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. She also found joy in rock and roll music, John Wayne movies, and classic western television series such as Gunsmoke. These interests brought her comfort, laughter, and happiness throughout her life.

In addition to her husband and daughters, she is survived by her mother, Barbara Murray, and her brothers, Mike McDowell and Tim McDowell.

Jacqueline will be remembered as fun-loving, deeply caring, and an inspiration to all who knew her. Her strength, warmth, and love touched many lives, and she will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
