Vincent Civa, of Sewell, NJ (previously of Camden), passed away on December 14, 2025, at the age of 81 years old.

 

Born in Atco, NJ, Vince graduated from Edgewood High School, enlisted in the Army Reserve, and started his retail career at Strawbridge & Clothier, before moving on later in life to Home Depot.

 

Vince was a character who enjoyed making other people happy through his joke telling and wit. An Eagles and Penn State fan, he enjoyed history, traveling, collecting sailing ship models, and eating out at local diners. Vincent was very proud of his Italian heritage and was a first generation American.

 

Predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Josephine Civa; his wife Donna (Lindsay); his siblings Vincent Civa, Sarah Kozloski, Connie Elling, Carmella Civa, and Joseph Civa. He is survived by his children, Denise Currie (Rich), Michelle Hopkins (Mark), Matthew Civa, five grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters.

 

Farewell Tribute:

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Vincent’s visitation on Saturday, January 10, 2026, beginning at 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church located on 176 Stagecoach Rd., Sicklerville, NJ, 08081. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 AM with inurnment to follow at Harleigh Cemetery.
