Carlos Dimas Rodriguez, 50, of Amsterdam, NY passed away December 16, 2025 at his residence. He was born July 22, 1975 in Brooklyn, NY to Dimas Rodriguez Escobar and Carmen Cintron Rodriguez. He was the youngest of 15, 10 sisters and 5 brothers.
Carlos was the glue of his family, he was a star example of a hardworking man and supportive husband, brother, uncle, father, and grandfather. He loved hard and worked even harder to always made sure his family was taken care of. He was a genuine soul and would do anything for anyone in need, he never turned his back on anyone. Carlos lived and loved on his own terms. He lived for the present, and every day ahead of him was a new adventure, despite health setbacks. He was a one-of-a-kind man, he was funny, loved to laugh and definitely a character. Carlos left a big impression on anyone who was lucky to know him, and he will never be forgotten.
Carlos is survived by his beloved long time life partner Holly Kozubal, whom he considered his wife. She will cherish all the memories of the years they spent together and their road trip adventures. In addition to Holly, Carlos is survived by 10 sisters and 5 brothers who were his everything; 45 nieces and nephews; his loving children; and 5 grandchildren.
The family has chosen to remember Carlos' life privately at this time.
