Regina Renee Rice, age 63 of Church Hill, TN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 19, 2025. Regina was born on January 23, 1962, in Oak Harbor, WA. Regina was a life-long member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Kingsport. On February 21, 2002, Regina married the love of her life, Pete Rice, and after 23 years of a beautiful life together, he survives.

Regina loved spending time with her family and playing puzzle games. She also enjoyed listening to music, especially her favorite group, Nickelback, and she enjoyed her weekly "Girls Day Out".

Regina was preceded in death by her brother (and best friend), Chris Robinson; her maternal grandparents, Haskel Douglas and Louise Douglas Jones; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Jack and Wanda Estes; her loving husband, Pete Rice; daughter, Hannah Salyer; stepdaughter; one granddaughter; her special dog, Destiny Marie; and many loving family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home Church Hill. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Hodges officiating. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Regina’s family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
