Marilyn Goldberg, 97 of St. Petersburg FL passed away December 16th, 2025. Marilyn was born in Jamestown, NY to Robert and Ida Lobock on February 11th, 1928. She attended Kane High School and graduated in 1946. She continued her education at Jamestown Business College. She married Jack Goldberg on November 19th, 1950, and later had three girls. Michele (Shelley), Ronna, and Amy. She went to work in 1978 while in Pittsburgh at Jason’s to help get ready for Michele attending college. She moved to St. Petersburg with her husband and her daughter Amy in 1976. She continued to work at Ivy’s and later Macy’s in the Men’s department as a fashion consultant (25 years). Her interests increased as she was an avid member of sisterhood in Pittsburgh and then St. Petersburg FL. In addition, she was recognized as woman of the year at Congregation B’nai Israel in recognition of her many hours of help and services. Moving on, for 25 years she and her husband, Jack, ushered at the Mahaffey Theater. She loved the theater and interacting with patrons. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Jack of 75 years. They just celebrated their 75th anniversary November 12th, 2025. Her three daughters, (Shelley) Pittsburgh, Amy Jones (St. Petersburg) and Duwayne Swanton, a beloved friend who provided unconditional love and visited her every Sunday, Ronna (Ricky) (Pittsburgh). She is a loving Grandmother to Benjamin (Ashley) Desmond, Bryan (Jennifer) Baker, (Michigan) and Shawn Vrcic (Pittsburgh. She is a proud Great Grandmother to Kayla (Pittsburgh) and Bryanna (Michigan). She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ida Lobock. The funeral service was held at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery on Sunday December 21st, 2025, at 11am. Officiated by Rabbi Phillip Weintraub of Congregation B’nai Israel.

Marilyns infectious smile and quick wit will be dearly missed by her friends and family. Kayla will miss her as Kayla was her shining light that kept her going in life. As a great grandma, she looked forward to Kayla’s calls, visits, loving hugs and kisses.
