Landon Andres Dela Rosa, age 20, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. He was born at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Boise, Idaho, and raised in
Meridian, where he called home. He loved loudly and lived boldly. He blasted music everywhere, Taylor Swift on his bike, Xavier Wulf to Sade to
Rihanna everywhere else. He was funny, sassy, and unapologetically himself. Soccer was his escape. He played many sports growing up, but soccer was the
one that stayed. He loved his car and learned every detail of it, pushing it far past its limits the way he did with everything he loved: hard and without
restraint. Then there was the bike. The smile on his face when he got it never faded. If he wasn’t riding, he was flying. Landon found freedom in the sky.
Flying gave him a glow that stayed with him long after he landed. He said there was nothing better than being up there. The worst part was always
having to come back down. Now, he doesn’t have to. He could eat anything, always too fast, always spicier than necessary. He loved skiing and was
unbelievably good at it. And fishing, goodness, that kid was always fishing. He could show up late, drop a line into waters that looked empty, and pull
something out like it was nothing. It felt like magic. Probably was. If you knew Landon, you didn’t just know him, you felt known by him. He had a way of
becoming who you needed in the moment. He was good. A gift too beautiful for this world. So if you knew him, don’t be angry that you didn’t get more
time, rather, feel blessed we got any at all. Landon loved fully, without shame or restraint. He loved with joy, anger, fear, and tenderness all at once. His
goodness was a gift. He was a helper and gave far to much of himself. Carry his kindness with you. Carry his fire too, it was full of love.
Because he existed, carry him. Carry all of him
