Martha Calabrese-Hofmann peacefully passed away in Clearwater, FL on December 20, 2025. Martha was born and raised in Orange Township, NJ, to Carmela and Vincent Lepore, where she attended and graduated from Our Lady of the Valley High School. She grew up in a large, loving Italian family surrounded by her two brothers, and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Martha was married to her first husband, Charles Calabrese, Sr for 20 years and had two children, Charles Jr. (Charlie) and Lisa. She then met and married the love of her life, Robert (Phil) Hofmann in 1998. While Martha considered her greatest accomplishment to be her children, she worked as a Supervising Inventory Coordinator for Tiffany & Company for over 22 years in the Parsippany NJ direct distribution center.
Martha loved listening to music, especially Elvis Presley, watching her shows and “her man”, spending time with her family and friends and cooking or baking her mother’s recipes. Martha was happiest when she was helping others, coordinating events, hosting dinners or just being in charge. Martha took pride in passing on her Italian values of love and good food to her children and niece, Melissa.
Martha is survived by her loving children Lisa Calabrese (Jack Akerlund), Charlie Calabrese (Laura), her cherished granddaughter, Mia, grandcats, DJ and Mo, brother Robert Lepore and “adopted daughter” Joyce Pellegrini and granddog, Archie. She was predeceased in death by her loving parents Carmela and Vincent Lepore, brother Vincent Lepore, husband Robert (Phil) Hofmann, ex-husband Charles Calabrese, Sr.
Memorial services will be held in both Clearwater, FL and NJ, with information forthcoming after the holidays. Memorial donations may be made in Martha’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Humane Society of Pinellas.
