Mary Lynn McKinnon passed away from this life of the age of 71, on December 16, 2025.  Mary Lynn was born on June 11,1954 to the late Beverly E. Long and Carmen A. Columbo. Mary was the first grandchild born to the late Mary and Santos Columb0, and was named after her grandmother, Mary Columbo, a devout catholic woman.  As children we remember our grandmother praying the Rosary every night before retiring.  She would pray to the statue of our blessed mother on the landing at the top of the stairs in the old house where our grandparents lived in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.    Mary Lynn was born in Chester, Pennsylvania and passed away at her home here in Tucson, where she lived for the past 45 years.    Mary Lynn graduated from Claymont High School in Claymont, Delaware, class of 1972.  She was Active in band, playing the clarinet and as a majorette. She attended the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida, where she was also a majorette in the band.   After moving to Tucson, Mary Lynn attended Pima College and studied textiles. She was an accomplished seamstress and ran a sewing shop from her home.    Mary Lynn was married to the late Dean McKinnon of Tucson.  She had no children.  She is survived by her sister Doreen McGuigan of Tucson.  Mary will be remembered for her beautiful smile.  Services will be held at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church in the chapel, 2727 North Tangerine Road Oro Valley, Arizona on Monday December 29th with a Rosary at 10:30 AM, followed by Mass at 11 AM Flowers nay be delivered to St. Marks an hour prior to the Rosary or a Donation may be to Casa Maria, Tucson, Arizona.
