Jerry Wayne Lofdahl, a devoted husband, proud veteran, and lifelong enthusiast of technology, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, in Thornton, Colorado, at the age of 80.

Jerry was born on July 26, 1945, in Kansas City, Kansas, and was raised by Donald and Ethel Lofdahl. He grew up alongside his sibling, Duane Lofdahl. Later in life he got to know his half-sister Ann Keith Vivia and his Keith cousins.

Service to Country

Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Machinist Mate from January 1963 until June 1966. His dedication earned him both the Armed Force Expeditionary Medal – Viet Nam and the National Defense Service Medal.

Life and Career

In a beautiful partnership that would span six decades, Jerry married the love of his life, Bonnie Lofdahl. Their 60 years of marriage served as a testament to enduring love and commitment.

Following his military service, Jerry embarked on a career with the U.S. Post Office, faithfully serving his community as a Mail Carrier until his retirement.

Jerry's passions were diverse and deeply enjoyed. He was an avid enthusiast of Pinball, mastering the classic machines. His intellectual curiosity led him to embrace modern technology through Home Automation, and he maintained a keen interest in Firearms and automation.

He was a beloved father to his son, Drek Lofdahl, and cherished his grandchildren, Christian, Daniel & Jeremy, and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his later years.
