Richard James Chlebeck of Saint Paul, MN passed away peacefully on December 19th, 2025. He will be dearly remembered for his loving care of his family and friends, soft smile, and love of sports and westerns. Richard was a devoted father, retired from his lifelong job at West Publishing, was an avid softball coach, and loved playing horseshoes, bocce ball, and bowling, as well as watching all Minnesota sports teams. He also adored his three black labs. 

 

He was preceded in death by his Wife Pamela; his Parents Stephen and Sophie; Sisters-in-law Paulette and Jill; and Nephew Tyler. 

 

Survived by his Daughters Jennifer (Mark), Christine, Laura (Dominic), Sarah (Mike), and Elizabeth (Peter); Brothers and Sisters Anne Marie (Craig), Donald, Dennis (Annemarie), Daniel, Kathleen, Diane (Don), Steve (Pat), David (Terri), and Vicki; 12 Grandchildren Andrew, Abigail, Alexis, Hannah, Gabriel, Grace, Dylan, Leah, Paige, Michaelene, Delilah, and Millie; 2 Great-Grandchildren Zoey and TJ; and many Nieces, and Nephews, as well as many more relatives and friends. 

 

The family thanks the staff at Cerenity Care Center, White Bear Lake, for their exceptional care, love, and support they showed our father.

 

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday January 9th, 2026 at Church of Saint John the Evangelist of Little Canada, 380 Little Canada Road E, Little Canada, MN 55117, with Visitation one hour prior.  Inurnment to follow at St. John's Cemetery.
