Evelyn C. Summerfield, 93, of Sprakers, NY passed away peacefully December 22, 2025 with her loving family at her side. She was born December 3, 1932 in Charleston Four Corners, NY to the late Channing and Mary Gordon. She wanted to reach her 93rd birthday, which she accomplished earlier this month. 

Evelyn was a proud graduate of Fultonville High School. She worked for Beech Nut in Canajoharie, NY for over 40 years before retirement. In her spare time she loved working in her yard, which she took great pride in keeping in beautiful. She enjoyed going to Charleston Seniors, where she formed many friendships. She also enjoyed going to the harness tracks at Saratoga and Vernon, watching Tom's horses race, then trying her luck at the casino. Evelyn loved her family, and loved seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren whenever she could. 

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, whom she married on May 4, 1951. They shared over sixty beautiful years together. She was also predeceased by her son Steven Summerfield. 

Evelyn is survived by her children Cathy Robinson, Vicky Voorhees (Tom Little), and Jack (Sue) Summerfield; grandchildren Michael (Missy) Summerfield, Tina Summerfield, Steven Summerfield, Mark Robinson, Tony Voorhees, and Ryan Summerfield; several great grandchildren; brother-in-law Richard Summerfield; sister-in-law Sandy Gordon; and her beloved canine companions Jack and Jill.

Burial will take place in the spring.
