Carl W. Kuni, 77, resided in National Park for 48 years, passed away on December 24, 2025 at Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill, NJ. He is the loving husband of Lillian Kuni, loving father of Jennifer Fox (Benjamin), Carl Jr. (Dawn). He is also survived by his sister Thea Sterbach (Bill). Devoted grandfather of Benjamin Jr., Alisha, Alyssa, Carli, Alana and Brayden. He is predeceased by his mother Charlotte Bradley , his father Carl A. Kuni, and his brother Kim Kuni.
Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing and being on the golf course. He loved being outdoors, cutting his lawn, washing his vehicles and riding his motorcycle with The Retreads of South Jersey. He dedicated his time to the NP athletics as a coach, was part of the NP ACA board for a number of years and was a instructor for the hunters education course. In his spare time, he would travel on his motorcycle with his wife, Lillian and their friends to bike rallies all over the US. Carl was a mechanic by trade and was employed with Brind Truck Leasing before being acquired by McDonnell Douglass Corporation/Airbourne Express. Carl retired from PSE&G Morristown in 2015.
Carl took immense pride in his grandchildren and loved going to their sports games. Family was most important to Carl. When his children were young, Carl would take family vacations to the shore and visits to amusement parks. He will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit and the love he shared.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm.
Interment will be held privately for his immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association at Let's End Diabetes with a 4x Match
