After a life of love, laughter, practical jokes, and bringing joy to anyone he met, John “Breck” Breckenridge Johnson II, 73, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on December 26th, 2025. He was born on March 29,1952 in Lexington to Johnny and Virginia Johnson.
Breck Johnson was a follower of Jesus Christ and lived his life rooted in love, service, and laughter. He was a devoted spouse, parent, grandparent, and friend. Nothing brought him greater happiness than time spent with people he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria, his three children, John (Lana) Johnson, Jenny (Ivan) Morrin, Jason Kopczyk, and beloved grandchildren Cody (Kaleb) Kessler, Reece (Chelsey) Johnson, Keagan (Jasmine) Morrin, Loran (Micah) Cowen, Ryan Johnson and Tristan Morrin. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Whitmer and his parents Johnny and Virginia Johnson.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on January 2nd from 1pm-4pm at Clark Legacy Center - Brannon Crossing. Please come and share your stories of Breck with the family.
While we grieve, we rejoice in the assurance of eternal life through Jesus Christ and the promise that we will see Breck again.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
