Billy Gene Southworth passed away on December 26, 2025, in Sacramento, CA, at the age of 77. He was born on February 28, 1948, in Madill, OK, to Cornelius and Jaunita (Usery) Southworth.

Bill moved to Hemet, CA, from Oklahoma in 1962. He graduated from Hemet High School in 1966 and joined the Air Force that same year. He moved back to Hemet after his discharge and worked in the mobile home manufacturing industry. Bill met his wife, Diane, in 1973, and they married in 1975. In February of this year, they were blessed to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Bill worked most of his career for General Telephone (now Verizon) for 26 years. Upon retirement, their love of the Sierra Foothills brought them first to Pollock Pines, then Sutter Creek, and finally to Jackson. Bill enjoyed the wine country, old westerns, travel, and cheering/cussing his OU football team.

There will be no services at this time.
