Robert Olin Richards, age 44 of Surgoinsville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.  Robert was born on November 6, 1981, in Rogersville, TN to Lon and Diane Richards.  After eight years of courtship, Robert married his most cherished friend, Chrissy Johnson, on July 9, 2011.  Together they raised two daughters and made many memories that will last a lifetime.   

Robert loved spending time with his family, especially his girls.  He was a huge Tennessee Titans fan, and he enjoyed playing video games in his spare time.  His presence will be missed by all those who know him. 

Robert was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Tyler Richards; and his father-in-law, Andy Johnson.  Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Diane Richards; his loving wife, Chrissy Richards; two daughters, Brianna Johnson, and Ashley Richards; brother, Troy Richards and wife, Kristen; mother-in-law, Gail Johnson; sister-in-law, Marie Spillman and husband, Eric; and many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.  

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
