Mariola Henryka Reysner was born on April 1, 1948, in Poland. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend of many, she passed away peacefully in her home on December 24, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Przemysław and her sons, Robert and Piotr, and his sons, Ethan, Adam, and Aidan.

Considered by many that knew her to be a force of nature, Mariola lived life on her terms. Striving for a better life for her family, she drove them across continents, countries and states, from Poland to France to the United States, ultimately settling down in California. She pushed her sons and grandsons to get their college degrees, ensuring their success in life and supported them when they hit hard times.

A dynamo to the end, she regularly walked 12,000 steps a day and yet managed to find time for travel with her husband to exotic locations via plane, boat, or car while maintaining a rich social life, participating in lunch and book clubs.

She is deeply loved and will be remembered for her fierce spirit, her loyalty, and the example she set by standing firmly in who she was. Her legacy is one of self-respect, resilience, and a life authentically lived. Mariola Reysner will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of those who honor her truly unique, loving, and formidable personality. She will be deeply missed.

Mission Mortuary - Seaside

Centrally located on the Monterey Peninsula, Mission Mortuary has been the premier funeral home choice for Monterey and the entire peninsula for decades. Mission Mortuary opened its doors in 1946, first on Munras Avenue in Monterey and to our current location on Camino El Estero, walking distance to the Pacific Ocean and area cemeteries, in 1952. Despite our long history, we have evolved to meet the changing needs of our families. Our facility includes spaces both large and small. Whether a handful of friends and family or a large crowd, we can accommodate all. As a reflection of our commitment to our diverse region, we offer multicultural funerals....
