Diane "Kim" Lee Morin passed peacefully on November 25, 2025. Diane was born in Tacoma, WA on August 1, 1936, to Pearl Jones and Eliot Smith. Pearl later remarried to Charles Morello and they moved the family to Campbell, CA where Diane enjoyed living on Jewell Drive with her brothers and sister. Diane attended Campbell High School and it was there that she and her friends adopted nicknames after different celebrities with "Kim" being in honor of Kim Novak. 

Kim was a payroll administrator and excelled in property management. She was a general manager for some local hotels including Best Western and the Fairfield Marriott in Capitola. She also volunteered as a grandma in the classroom at Main Street School, Del Mar, and Live Oak. It was this job that she said was her absolute favorite. 

At home, Kim loved to be in the kitchen cooking and baking many delicious treats for families and friends. Her specialties were Sunday Gravy, Beef Stew, and Italian Cookies that were reserved for Christmas time. 

Kim was such a bright light, and she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Her life will be honored and celebrated every day by shared memories and acts of love. Kim's legacy will be carried on by the Ferro, Nama, Morello, and Atkinson Families.
