Debbie Rae McAuliffe, 68, of Cloquet, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025.
She was born on July 2, 1957, in Duluth, MN to parents Richard John Bergman and Donna Joan (Brouse) Bergman. Debbie was a lifelong resident of Northeastern Minnesota, and graduated from Duluth East High School. She married her husband of 48 years, Patrick McAuliffe, in 1978. Debbie was employed by Essentia Health for 35 years, and spent her time away from work enjoying the outdoors with family and friends. She loved to hunt and fish, and was a lifetime member of the United Northern Sportsman organization. Debbie volunteered with Grandma's Marathon for over 20 years, as well as the Shoot for Fun event.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Bergman, and Donna Poroli; siblings, O'Ann Decaro, Richard Bergman, and Timothy Bergman; and stepfather, Orlando Poroli.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick McAuliffe; daughter, Breanna McAuliffe; grandson, Shawn McAuliffe; sisters Kathy (David) Amundson, and Lori (John) Rich; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Atkins Northland Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2026. Visitation will take place from 4-6pm.
